Data Access, Inc. is
committed to protecting data that belongs to our clients. Several
safeguards are in place to meet that commitment.
Collection of Information
DAI collects
personally identifiable information, like names, postal addresses, email
addresses, etc., when voluntarily submitted by our clients. The information you
provide is used for our internal use. This information is only used to fulfill
your specific request, unless you give us permission to use it in another
manner, for example to add you to one of our mailing lists.
Your Database
Your database
will reside on a server at a location of your choosing. In most cases, it
will be on a server in your office. From time to time, it may be necessary
for DAI to request a backup copy of your database in order to resolve specific
issues. DAI will keep secure your database until the issues are resolve
and then delete the database. At no time will your information be used for
any purpose other than to resolve your issue.
Distribution of
Information
Portions of your data may be accessible from external sources.
a)
From
www.InvisibleFence.com a prospect will be able to add his/her self to your
database and retrieve a list of available appointments from which to choose.
b)
Using
www.eFenceXtreme.com your distributor or RSC may “request” certain data from
your database. If you accept the request, you will be able to see the
information that is sent before you submit it.
c)
Automated
sharing of data can be implemented at your acceptance. For example, you
may wish to automate a weekly or monthly report to your distributor for things
such as Warranty Card Submission.
d)
Certain
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transaction may occur at your acceptance.
Things like integration with QuickBooks, PeachTree, and ICVerify will exchange
information between third party applications. You may also elect for EDI
with your distributor for Purchase Orders, Packing Slips, etc.
At no time will
your data be available to outside sources without your knowledge and consent.
Commitment to
Data Security
Your personally identifiable information is kept secure. Only authorized
employees, agents and contractors (who have agreed to keep information secure
and confidential) have access to this information. All emails and newsletters
from this site allow you to opt out of further mailings.
DAI will take reasonable measures to protect your data, but will be held harmless
in the event of a data breach. You will be notified if your privacy has
been compromised.
